More NERD
Lapdance by N*E*R*D
Watched this video yesterday from lurking HB randomly. Just thought I'd give some of NERD nostalgia.
Isn't it funny how Pharrell looks older here than how he does now? What's even funnier is that pharrell looks EXACTLY how my dad did in his young adult days. Not even exaggerating. I'd post some comparison pictures but i'm exhausted mothafucka!

'The Three Graces' by NOX

a view of 'the three graces' from the khor dubai wharfage where they are located
historically in art, the three graces have been viewed as a symbol of lasting unity, each grace displaying
a relaxed posture, and forming a group of sisters or friends and representing joy, beauty and charm.
related in form and gesture, the three create a synergy. invited for a competition, NOX | lars spuybroek has
designed a family of towers called 'the three graces' in dubai which follow very similar dynamics to that of the
art history beauties. the project is currently in progress and sees the towers being interconnected by a footbridge.
this bridge will reduce footprints on the peers and increase the symbolism of unity and will make the towers
appear as a gate to the harbor on which it is situated.
inspired by the famous example of the firth-of-forth bridge in scotland, 1882, the three towers are constructed
from one load-bearing skin which is geometrically based on small oceanic creatures called 'radiolaria'.
one meter behind the skin, there is a glass-mulliion (which is a structural element dividing adjacent windows
of a built structure) and spans from floor to floor between the skins the towers' climates can be regulated
by a mixture of both natural and artificial ventilation.

a close look at the cell-like skin which connects all three of the towers

the towers are all connected by a bridge which runs over the water

ONCE AGAIN...
After 7 rounds of Manny straight merkin' DLH, Oscar forfeits before the 8th starts. Manny dominated every round leaving DLH bludgeoned.
Honestly, I thought DLH's move was pretty bitchmade. I can think of how DLH fans feel. I picture it being like it was for Lakers fans last playoff game. LET DOWN. I don't know why people are saying "good fight", DLH was barely even throwing any fists!!! His face was like a magnet for fists!
Although I have to give him respect for not making up an excuse for losing, giving Pac his respect, and for not knocking down (although he would've been 8th round!). And I understand that DLH is not in his prime years; he's gotten old. If there were a time machine I'm sure boxing fans of all would like to see these two fight in their prime. Now THAT would be a good match that everyone seems to be talking about.
Thus leaves another outstanding fight for Manny Pacquiao. His history of defeating Mexico's best boxers even dubbed him "Mexicutioner" by the media. And as Oscar de la Hoya being Mexico's best, there are no more current opponents in line for Manny... Or is there?!

About 4 more hours from now until one of the biggest professional boxing matches. Manny Pacquiao vs. Oscar de la Hoya. It's going to be a battle between strength, speed and stamina.
Details: Boxers' attributes
OSCAR DE LA HOYA
Record:
(30 KO), 5 losses.
Age: 35
Height: 179cm
Reach: 185cm
Stance: orthodox
MANNY PACQUIAO 52 fights, 47 wins
Record:
(35 KO), 3 losses, 2 draws.
Age: 29
Height: 169cm
Reach: 170cm
Stance: southpaw
My favor goes for the Pacman, not just for probably the only ounce of Filipino pride i have but because Manny is probably the fastest pound for pound boxer right now. His stamina is untouched and looking at his last matches, so is he. He destroyed all his past opponents and with all due respect I expect the same for DLH.
No doubt this will be his best fight yet. For the year's most anticipated match (for me), it better be.

Desert vs. Vasquez
Terrence Wells bucketing 1 of the 67
Desert High School's impressive first [pre-season] game against Vasquez High School ended on a solid 67-31 [not confirmed].
The game was quite entertaining. Highlights include Stephen Ford's clean steal & fastbreak, Mr. Jefferson dancing (video coming soon), and last but DEFINITELY not least, Terrence Wells' MONSTER dunk on one of Vasquez's innocent players.
The game was a good start for the pre-season, and hopefully the same results will become of Desert's future formidable opponents.
Stephen Ford for the jumpshot
Giovanni aka "G-Money" for the jumpshot
Desert & Vasquez round up for a potential rebound
Calvin Tretasco looking for an open pass
Fellas, Need a Boost with the Ladies?

G-Game just not on point lately? Outfits that have the cost of a 5 year old car just not getting females' attention? Well, luckily Julius has your back.
See, I was going to keep this a secret, but I found out myself the magic of this cologne, David Beckham: Signature. After all, the scent of a man can sometimes make or break him. The cologne definitely smells great, very distinct, subtly sweet, yet delivering the statement "I am a Man".
And I have experienced first hand of how much it works. I won't get into detail but the girls will LOVE it.
Do yourself a favor and upgrade your Tag, Curve, or Hollister Jake cologne game and robocop this for the holidays. You, and of course the breezies, will not be disappointed.
